Terms of service
Last updated November 2, 2026
These terms are an agreement between you and Swipe Files LLC ("we") for using Headstream. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to them. If you use Headstream for a company, you confirm you can bind that company.
Your account
Keep your login and API keys secure. You're responsible for what happens under your account, including what your team and agents do with it.
Your data and your visitors
- You own your data. You give us permission to process it to run the service.
- You decide what the script collects on your sites, and you're the data controller for your visitors.
- You're responsible for any notices, cookie consent and legal basis your visitors' locations require, including in the EU and UK.
- Our data processing terms are part of these terms.
Acceptable use
Don't use Headstream to break the law, collect passwords, payment card numbers or health data, attack the service, or get around usage limits.
Plans and billing
Paid plans bill monthly in advance through Stripe, based on events across your organization. Plans renew until cancelled, and cancelling takes effect at the end of the billing period. Fees are non-refundable unless the law requires otherwise. We may change prices with 30 days' notice.
Beta features
Features marked Beta may change or stop working, and are provided as is.
Source-available code
Where our code is published, its license governs the code. These terms govern the hosted service.
Ending your use
You can stop at any time and export your data first. We may suspend accounts that break these terms or put the service at risk. After closure, we delete your data on request or within a reasonable period.
Disclaimers
The service is provided "as is". Analytics include estimates and can't see everything, as our methodology explains. Don't rely on Headstream as your accounting record. We don't promise the service will be uninterrupted or error-free.
Limit of liability
To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses, or lost profits, revenue or data. Our total liability is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
Governing law
California law governs these terms, without regard to its conflict of law rules. Disputes go to the courts of California.
Changes and contact
We may update these terms and will give notice of material changes. Continuing to use the service means you accept them. Questions go to ch@coreyhaines.co.
